Price Photographs

Price is the county seat of Carbon County and the home of the College of Eastern Utah. It is also the convention center of the area with many restaurants and hotels. It was originally settled by the Mormon pioneers and later immigrants from France, Greece, Italy and other European countries arrived and began raising sheep, farming and establishing businesses. To accommodate the ethnic diversity many churches of different religions were built. Price was also the headquaraters for the wagon freight to Fort Duchesne in the Uintah Basin.

Please keep in mind that these photographs have been reduced in size to approximately 1 1/2" to 2" to save on server space and download time. The original size of the photograph varies. Please see the Introduction page for details on ordering photographs along with the price list.
