The train models in the case and the train set in both rooms were handmade by Gladwin Woodhead, a machinest on the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad for many years. |
Mr. Woodhead spent 50 years carving, tooling and building these models in the basement of his home in Salt Lake City, Utah. |

His entire private collection was presented to the Western Mining and Railroad Museum by Mrs. Woodhead on November 16, 1985. |
